Rangers second-round draft pick Owen White undergoes Tommy John surgery
Right-hander Owen White, the Rangers' second-round pick in last year's draft, will become the second member of the draft class to undergo Tommy John surgery.
White, 19, joins Forney's Mason Englert, the team's fourth-round pick last year. White underwent the procedure Wednesday afternoon at TMI Sports Medicine's surgery center. Dr. Keith Meister, the Rangers' director of medical services, operated.
