TMI Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery was the vision of Dr. Keith Meister. In 2004, Dr. Meister opened a small office in Arlington. Shortly thereafter he was named the Head Team Physician of the Texas Rangers. The practice was specifically geared towards providing orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation for athletes.
In 2009, Dr. Shane Seroyer joined the practice, with an immediate impact in strengthening the capabilities of caring for the athletic population, while offering additional care to those seeking orthopedic care regarding joint replacement. This addition created a shift to providing more complete orthopedic care to the Arlington community. Dr. Seroyer is the Assistant Team Physician for the Texas Rangers.
In 2015, Dr. Jesse Even joined the practice, adding expertise in the areas of orthopedic spine care. The practice grew in patient population diversity, and in March of 2015, TMI Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery relocated to its current state-of-the-art facility located on Matlock Road in Arlington. Dr. Even is the Spine Consultant for the Texas Rangers.
And the growth has not stopped. In September of 2016, Dr. Bill Robertson joined the practice. Providing even greater capacity for the orthopedic needs for the active population, as well as offering subspecialties in sports medicine and hip and knee preservation, the practice gained yet another highly qualified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Robertson remains the Head Team Physician for the Dallas Stars Hockey Club.
Today the facility at Matlock Road provides a complete array of orthopedic care, imaging and physical therapy for all populations. Its convenience of offering all orthopedic care under a single roof has made TMI a leader in the area of Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.
