Cleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer undergoes shoulder surgery
Cleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer had surgery on his injured right shoulder Friday in Dallas and will not be available for the foreseeable future. Specialist Dr. Keith Meister performed the surgery and results were not immediately available from the team.
Manager Terry Francona said prior to the Tribe's series opener against the Texas Rangers that he hoped to have an update on how the surgery went soon from Indians medical staff.
