I want to start off by saying I absolutely love Dr. Even and Dr. Ambrosia! I was referred to TMI May 13th and met with Dr. Ambrosia. I was experiencing numbness in my limbs and she referred me to have an MRI the same day. May 13th at 9:30pm Dr. Even called me and told me I had to have emergency surgery the next morning after review of my MRI. I had a rare case called caudia equina. I am forever greatful for these two. Dr. Ambrosia is so caring and constantly checked up on me. She is a genuine soul who really cares about her patients. I am forever greatful to Dr. Even for contacting late Monday night and not wasting anytime for scheduling my emergency surgery. They are a great team! I have only known them a short time and they have been the world to me! Even the front desk staff is always friendly! I recommend TMI to anyone in need!

Dr.Even changed my life literally.I went to him for severe back pain. I had no quality of life.He did all the right testing gave me all my options . After great thought and fear of back surgery. I finally let him do a TLIF. It is now 14 weeks later and my quality of life is amazing, He gave me my life back. His office scheduled all aftercare appointments for me. All I had to do is get better,Him and his staff are nothing short of being amazing. Words cannot express my gratitude to all. Thanks for all you do.

I was going to other doctors for a few years. I was informed that surgery was need and I would be off work up to 6 mo. And be in a upper body cast. Went to Dr. EVENS for a second opinion. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE.. After my neck surgery I was better than 100% for the first time in 6 years.Great Doctor..Great staff. Thanks Dr.Evens and crew

I got sideline pass for the Mansfield vs. Midway playoff game and it was the first time in 5 or 6 years that I was able to stand up on the sidelines, without having to bend over constantly to relieve the pain and numbness. I was able to walk around and legs never started going numb and pain has been greatly reduced. Huge for me to be able to do that again! Thanks Dr. Even.

I had neck surgery in 08/2016 and I was told by Dr. Jesse Evans that I needed an ACDF and I was supposedly missing 2 discs in my neck and also that if I didn't have it in 30 days I could very well be paralyzed! And it scared me to death so I had it done and it was the worst mistake I have ever made I shouldn't have listened to him it was better before the surgery that's the truth I can't turn my neck at all now I have to turn my body and it hurts non stop. So now it's a hard to drive and sleep and just to look up or just to turn my head and now I don't know what to do but to try and help someone else by letting somebody know that he did this to me and they or he will not speak to me at all about it please do not take his word he is very convincing please get another opinion he made life miserable for me I wish I never met him!!!!!!!!!

I was in a serious car accident. Back and brain damage. i shave suffered for 5 years because of insurance . I researched and found Dr Evens. I went in the first of 2018 and surgery was scheduled April 20th.. Disk fusion on c5/c6. I was hoping for a 50% reduction in pain. Five months later I am at 80-90% reduction in pain. Sure there will be days. But i am amazed on what Dr Evens was able to accomplish. Also any visit will be one of complete satisfaction. To to people at the front desk to the nurses. The visit is one you will not forget. Dr Evens always asks me before he leaves if I have any more questions. If I do he will take his time to answer. Completely unheard of these days of medicine. A+ on all levels.

When steroid injections no longer worked, I decided to have back surgery. I asked if there were exercises I could do before surgery and Dr. Even immediately set me up with PT for the weeks prior to surgery. The day after I came home from surgery, the home health physical therapist began working with me 3 days/week. 3 weeks later I was cleared for outpationt therapy at TMI. Shelby Beal was excellent - not only giving me print-outs of exercises to do at home, but explaining the hows and whys of each exercise I did at TMI. The pain in my lower back is totally gone and I only need to continue working to strengthen the muscles. The doctors and staff at TMI make sure the patient has all the help needed for a successful rehabilitation.

Drs. Even and Robertson have both had me under their care for neck and shoulder procedures that made my life so much more enjoyable. The cleanliness, courtesy and knowledge of the staff and physicians is above reproach. The folks at the front desk are as helpful and accommodating as one could wish, and when having procedures, then doing your therapy, you will be made to feel as if you were the only person they had to see all day.

I made an appointment with Dr. Evens. When I arrived I was told I was seeing a nurse practitioner. She did xrays. Then wrote out prescriptions. Said maybe a pulled muscle or bruised muscles. I knew there was something wrong. I went to see another back specialist. He did xrays from top to bottom. I have a fracture of my spine. The nurse practitioner didn’t even noticed the dark mass sitting between my shoulder blades. She said she didn’t want to do a CT scan due to radiation. This other doctor has me scheduled for a CT scan and bone scan. He said he was more concerned about the mass than the fracture. I gave him all the medication she gave me. He did an injection for the pain of the fracture and said call if I need him. The nurse practitioner ask if I thought she should do a follow up. Really! No I will not be back.

Dr Jesse Even did surgery on my back one year ago. Late 2024 I had an incident in downtown Tulsa, the best way to describe it was "I lost my legs". I was terrified. The ER doctor scared me saying I need to stay close to a hospital because next time it could be permanent. Dr Even put my mind at ease the first time I met him. His confidence and reassuring words made having a third back surgery an easy decision. This was the most complicated of my three surgeries. I'm now 66 and never dreamed this surgery could go better than my surgeries at age 34 and 36! I now have no pain. None. Dr Even answered every single question before my surgery, post op and at each followup. He and his staff are AMAZING. There are no words to adequately describe how grateful I am to Dr Even, his staff and my cuz Trey for recommending him. Praise God. SJM

After months of being in pain, numbing in my arm and hands, doctor Evan’s took one look at my scans and got me into surgery the following week. Surgery was successful. Easiest recovery I have ever had. I am now back in the gym and back to doing life exactly how I was before my injury. So thankful for Dr Evan’s and his amazing team. They truly are the best!

I received excellent care from Dr. Even and his team throughout my visit. My surgery was handled with great skill, with a very good outcome. The staff was attentive and supportive throughout the entire process. TMI facility and Baylor hospital were both quite impressive. Overall very impressed with my experience with Dr. Even and TMI.

Dr. Even is friendly and attentive to your complaints. I felt at ease immediately and knew I was in good hands. I loved the fact that surgery was a last resort with him and alternatives was something he would consider first. He's helped a lot in minimizing my back pain. If you need an awesome orthopedic doctor, you can't go wrong with Dr. Even.

Dr Even is the best! He performed my ACDF in 2019 and I had the best recovery. I have since moved out of state, so, when I needed a second opinion on another issue I traveled 3 1/2 hrs back to him to get his opinion. I would trust him with any issue.
