Biography
Dr. Jesse Even is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex spinal conditions. At TMI Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery, he focuses on treating degenerative, traumatic, sports-related, and oncologic disorders of the spine using advanced surgical and minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Even has a particular clinical interest in conditions affecting the cervical spine and sports-related spine injuries, helping both athletes and active individuals return safely to their daily activities and athletic pursuits.
His passion for orthopedic surgery stems from a personal experience during his youth. While training for the U.S. Diving National Championship in high school, Dr. Even suffered a serious spinal fracture while diving from the ten-meter Olympic platform. The orthopedic surgeon who treated him made a lasting impression and inspired Dr. Even to pursue a career in orthopedic surgery and spine care.
Dr. Even currently serves as the Head Team Physician for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club and as an Orthopedic Consultant for the Dallas Stars Hockey Club, roles that reflect his expertise in treating spinal injuries affecting elite athletes.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Even is an accomplished researcher and contributor to orthopedic literature, with numerous publications in leading spine and orthopedic journals.
