I wasted/waited at least 2 full years of my remaining gifted life in pain. Oh, for those years back inc a FAMILY CHRISTMAS IN SANTA FE where I attempted to participate using a walker. I had a very successful surgery with Dr Shane SCROYER at TMI. I CAN WALK AS FAST AS I WANT and enjoy the freedom of MY NEW LIFE. I AM GIFTED AN EXCITING FUTURE by DR SCROYER‼️ I continue to grow stronger with his supervised work-out staff. My family seems pleased to “SEE ME GO‼️” Nellie R Dipert. “Just do it‼️

Our son is a pitcher, and he tore his UCL in February of his freshman year of college. It took a little while to determine his diagnosis and to find the doctor who would work best for us, but once we contacted TMI Sports Medicine, Tanner was able to get an appointment, plan of action, and have surgery within 2 weeks. As a parent, insurance was also important to us, and even though we were from out of state, TMI got it all handled and approved even faster than the doctor we saw in our home state!!!

We chose Dr. Hendawi because he offers more than just the traditional Tommy John surgery with the hybrid version which we believed would provide the best long term strength for his return to the mound. From start to finish, Dr. Hendawi, Haley (his PA), and Zach (TMI’s PT) took amazing care for our son. He was released yesterday to start his pitching return, and he is already throwing within 3-4 mph of his original velocity. He doesn’t have any pain. We would chose Dr. Hendawi and the team at TMI Sports Medicine again if we had any other issues for anyone in our family!!!!

I blew my UCL on Feb. 5, and it took us a while to get a diagnosis. We had someone tell us about TMI, and we were able to get into see Dr. Hendawi and have surgery within 2 weeks. The entire process from the initial visit to my final visit a year later was as great of an experience as one could ask for as a player. I am one year post op, and I am already within 3-4 mph of my original velo with NO PAIN. I chose Dr. Hendawi because he offers the TJ hybrid option, and I wanted to make sure my UCL was a strong as possible to come back. He used a graft from my hamstring to do the repair. Post op care has been wonderful. Haley, his PA, is top notch, and she is quick to help with anything I needed like letters for a medical redshirt or questions about incisions, etc. Their PT Zach also worked with my hometown PT Craig to make sure we followed the TMI recovery plan. I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me get back on the mound.

As a former Power 4 football player—and the son of one—I understand firsthand that not all surgeons are created equal, regardless of specialty. Being in the medical industry myself, I know how critical it is to do thorough research before making a decision of this magnitude. We consulted multiple sources, platforms, and trusted referrals, and without hesitation, Dr. Meister stands alone when it comes to UCL injuries. From our very first interaction, it was clear we were in the best possible hands. Dr. Meister’s expertise, confidence, and experience are truly unmatched. His PA, Whitney, his Director of Rehabilitation, Daniel, and the entire surgery center team—from check-in through post-op—are exceptional. Professional, attentive, and fully invested in their patients’ recovery and long-term success. If you are facing the unfortunate situation of a loved one sustaining an elbow injury in a throwing sport, start with Dr. Meister. Choosing him was, without question, the best decision I’ve ever made.

Dr Jesse Even did surgery on my back one year ago. Late 2024 I had an incident in downtown Tulsa, the best way to describe it was "I lost my legs". I was terrified. The ER doctor scared me saying I need to stay close to a hospital because next time it could be permanent. Dr Even put my mind at ease the first time I met him. His confidence and reassuring words made having a third back surgery an easy decision. This was the most complicated of my three surgeries. I'm now 66 and never dreamed this surgery could go better than my surgeries at age 34 and 36! I now have no pain. None. Dr Even answered every single question before my surgery, post op and at each followup. He and his staff are AMAZING. There are no words to adequately describe how grateful I am to Dr Even, his staff and my cuz Trey for recommending him. Praise God. SJM

Dr. Tariq Hendawi did an excellent job with my knee surgery. He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. The surgery went smoothly, and my recovery has been going very well. His professionalism, skill, and genuine care really stood out. I’m very grateful for the outcome and would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing knee surgery.

I recently underwent a knee scope and meniscectomy with Dr. Hendawi, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. He provided clear explanations about the procedure, answered my questions thoroughly, and ensured I understood what to expect throughout the process. His surgical work and professionalism gave me confidence at every step. A huge part of what made my care feel so supported was the ongoing support from his team, particularly Physician Assistant Haley Girard. She guided me through nonsurgical options, follow-up appointments, and recovery with patience, responsiveness, and a personable approach that made a real difference. Her thorough attention and support helped me navigate the process with confidence and ease. I’m grateful for the quality of care I received and would recommend this team for anyone needing orthopedic treatment or surgery.

I am a 68 year old very active female. I live about two hours away from Dr. Robertson's practice. When I was referred to him, I did not know what to expect from a new doctor, but I knew that I needed help with the pain in both arms. My first impression of him was that he was so young and looked like he could be my grandson and I wondered what kind of experience he had. After reassuring me that he had done hundreds of rotator cuff surgery, I decided to let me him operate first on my left shoulder. The experience was and has been great. My physical therapist where I live was so amazed at the work that Dr. Robertson had done. I sailed through the therapy and then proceeded to have the right arm done which was worse than the left arm. Again the results have been amazing and after six months I am free of pain and have gained the mobility of both my arms. I cannot thank Dr. Robertson enough for the exceptional work and care that he gave me. He is a very pleasant and sincere man who seems to listen and care about his patients.

I am a 69 year old woman. I have had both knees replaced by another surgeon. I developed a bone infection in my right knee. I was sent to a specialist who replaced the knee along with all the ligaments, tendons, etc.. I couldn't walk or even stand on it without it giving way and falling for 3 years. (They had taken out my knee cap and tendons that straigten the leg). I went back to my original knee doctor who then sent me to Dr. Robertson. Dr. Robertson listened to me and really appeared to care about me, my problem and wanting to help me. When I met him I couldn't use my leg at all. I had no control over it. I was unable to move, lift or anything else without manually placing it where I wanted it to go. Other doctors gave me the option of an above the knee amputation. Dr. Robertson performed surgery replacing the knee cap and the tendons. Thanks to Dr. Robertson I am now able to stand and walk again after 3 years of not being able to use it at all. I drive at least an hour from home to his office and it is worth every mile and minute. If you want a doctor who is very caring, knowledgeable, and willing to help you there is no one any finer. I would recommend him to anyone because I honestly don't think you could get anyone better than Dr. Robertson.

I am 65 years old and have been active most of my life. In 2000, I tore both of my rotator cups and the orthopedic surgeon told me that with a little rest both of them would repair, but the doctor was wrong. My left rotator cup never repaired itself and over the years it continued to get worse. By 2005, the pain in my left shoulder had reached a point where I knew something was wrong. At that time, I went to an orthopedic surgeon, and he explained to me that the damage to my shoulder was not severe enough, and the insurance company would not pay for surgery at that time. He recommended that I cut back on the amount of activity that I was doing and try to give the shoulder a chance to heal on its own. By 2009, the shoulder was in constant pain, and I had to cut back on the amount of activity that I was involved in due to this pain. By 2013, I decided that one way or the other I was going to have surgery to correct this problem. In April, I started looking for a surgeon and after visiting several doctors seeking their opinion; I contacted a friend of the family, a trauma surgeon at Parkland Hospital and asked for a referral. He came up with the name of Dr. William Robertson of UT Southwestern. Eight weeks later, I am happy that I made the decision to have the surgery handled by Dr. William Robertson and his staff. Dr. Robertson told me after surgery that he saw no reason why I would not have full use of my left shoulder and arm. Eight weeks later, I have recovered about 75 to 80% full usage of my shoulder and arm and hope for full recover. I am extremely happy with the recovery process that I am going through. By following the recovery process laid out by Dr. Robertson and his staff I am recovering faster than I thought humanly possible. A week and a half after surgery I was able to stop all pain medication and returned to my favorite past time of writing fiction novels with little pain. All I can tell you is that if you live anywhere within a comfortable traveling distance of Dr. Robertson's office, before you make a decision of which surgeon will perform surgery on your shoulder you should consider Dr. William Robertson and his staff. They have changed my life for the better.

On October 28,2016 I sustained my first football injury, tearing every ligament in my left knee. Thanks to Dr. Robertson he not only gave me surgery but changed my life. This injury has made me a different person on the football field and in life, it taught me hard work, perseverance and it increased my passion for football. After the longest process of my life (rehab) I was finally released to play football again, I started the season back to my old position before I got hurt on the Defensive line, as the season progressed I got moved to a much harder position on offense call halfback. Through the season I've had my ups and downs with my knee but managed to keep it flexible and strong. Now I play offensive line for Mansfield Summit. Again, I want to thank the TMI trainers and Dr. Robertson for all they have done, because of them I have made just enough plays to help my team make playoffs.

Anyone who has a broken bone stop right here and read the whole post. I rolled my ankle 7 weeks ago on Saturday eve at a restaurant. Woke up on Sunday with excruciating pain. Grabbed my stored crutches and went to the Urgent Care on north Collins. The doctor took an xray and freaked me out. "You broke your ankle and you need surgery immediately!" Why was I freaked out? Cause I take blood thinners. I researched all the orthos in my town, reached out to my PCP on Monday, told her about the situation, and asked her for a referral for Dr. Brigham K Au ASAP. Two days later I met with him and he is the BEST!! Why did I pick Dr. Au and this practice? I picked TMI Sports Medicine because they take care of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Stars and picked Dr. Au because he apparently is a truth teller. I provided the xray and the first thing he told me was "You don't need a surgery. You have a self healing injury. Your fibula only moved 10% so start PT immediately. " So I immediately scheduled tons of sessions. I was floored. Even made a joke about how he prefers to perform surgery! He could've just taken my money (many people in the health care industry take your money). I met with him last Wednesday and he gave me great news. My ankle is 50% healed on schedule, it's down to 5% moved, and I don't need the walking boot anymore. We'll meet again in 6 weeks and hopefully when TMI gives me the 3rd xray Dr. Au will tell me my ankle is fully healed. And the PT team at TMI is incredible! Landon and Malena are are BEST. I followed their instructions, took care of my homework etc, and for the first time in 7 weeks I can exercise my lower body. Oh and the staff up front is kind and helpful as well. They helped me schedule follow up appointments and the PT sessions. I am so grateful to Landon, Malena, the front desk staff, and Dr. Au for everything. In conclusion, in my opinion you have to go to TMI to get a great team and the best surgeon in Arlington to repair your broken bones. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone who has a broken bone!

I have always driven by TMI, it looked nice from the outside; I was very impressed once I was able to visit as a patient. I felt like I was getting celebrity treatment.

A Short Recovery was Especially Important to this Patient At the educational seminar presented by Dr. Niedermeier, the more she learned about this technique the more excited she got. “When I learned about the short recovery time, which put a lot of my worries to rest, I thought, let’s just get this done. So, we scheduled the procedure for both wrists pretty quickly.”
Simone P
I had the BEST experience with Dr. Niedermeier! I came in concerned about my injury and left with relief! The appointment was very informative. I felt extremely comfortable. Dr. Niedermeier’s service is ALWAYS top notch! If I come back, I hope I don’t but if I do, TMI and Dr N will always be my go to spot! Definitely 10/10

Dr Meister is bar none hands down the top orthopedic surgeon at what he does in the country. He is heading towards world renowned status. I hear people come from all over the country just for his expertise and I have witnessed it first hand. Our son plays baseball and we have been coming to Dr Meister for many years from High School to now at a major college with our son from various injuries due to pitching. Dr Meister does 1000’s of surgeries and could have recommended surgery right up front however he did not and tried everything to avoid it. He give injections and even told our son he “did not” want to do the surgery if he could avoid it. He said try this injection and hopefully this will work. After several visits with the injections not working we decided to do the surgery. His facility and team were over the top. Dr Meister has numerous people come in there after failed attempts from other surgeons from everywhere to finally get the prior issue resolved with Dr Meister. I don’t get these negative reviews because Dr Meister’s work is the best you will find. This is why the highest profile MLB players come from all over the country to see him and he’s the Texas Rangers Team Surgeon. Thanks Dr Meister.

Dr. Niedermayer is an amazing surgeon who truly listens when you have questions or concerns. He performed two very successful surgeries on me. I would travel across town if necessary to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Niedermeier walks into the room with a smile, has a great sense of humor and is always glad to see me. He is very knowledgeable about his profession and is extremely concerned about the stage of my recovery. I am in my late sixties and he is the best doctor I have ever had the experience of using for a surgeon or otherwise. I wish all my doctors were as pleasant and professional as Dr. Niedermeier.

I am so very fortunate that I found Dr. Neidermeier. I had hand surgery a year ago and things didn’t work out well, when I went looking for help from other surgeons no one would help. This man is the most honest, relaxed and everything turned out perfect, Thank you!!!!!
Alexandra E.
Dr. Niedermeier is very personable and was super easy to talk to. He answered all of my and my wife’s questions and presented me with options for my condition. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured to make any decision. I opted for surgery and this process was as simple and smooth as possible. I could not be more pleased with the service of the entire staff. A pleasant experience from start to finish!
