Biography

Haley Girard is a Physician Assistant at TMI Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery, where she provides care for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions. She works closely with Dr. Tariq Hendawi to evaluate injuries, develop individualized treatment plans, and guide patients through recovery so they can safely return to their daily activities and athletic pursuits.

A native of Amarillo, Texas, Haley attended West Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology while competing as a member of the women's soccer team. Her experience as a collegiate athlete helped shape her interest for sports medicine, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

Haley earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida in Gainesville, with the majority of her clinical training completed in Tampa, Florida. During her time in Florida, she completed a sports medicine rotation with Dr. Koco Eaton, Head Orthopedic Surgeon for the Tampa Bay Rays, where she gained valuable experience caring for athletes at the professional level.

Haley joined TMI Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery in 2023 and works alongside Dr. Tariq Hendawi, caring for patients with sports injuries and orthopedic conditions through both surgical and non-surgical treatment approaches. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while helping patients achieve their goals and return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, Haley provides sports medicine coverage for Mansfield Lake Ridge High School and Arlington High School. She previously assisted with medical coverage for the WNBA Dallas Wings, reflecting her continued passion for athletics and sports medicine. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, baking, and staying active through sports.
