Biography

Michael Lam is a board-certified Physician Assistant who provides care for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic trauma conditions. At TMI Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery, he works closely with the physicians to evaluate injuries, coordinate treatment plans, and help guide patients through recovery so they can safely return to their normal activities.

Michael has a strong background in orthopedic trauma and reconstructive surgery, with experience in both operative and non-operative management of complex fractures and musculoskeletal injuries. His clinical work focuses on helping patients recover from traumatic injuries while restoring strength, mobility, and long-term joint function.

He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from LSU Health Shreveport, where he developed a strong clinical foundation in orthopedic medicine and trauma care.

At TMI Sports Medicine, Michael works alongside Dr. Brigham Au, assisting in the care of patients with orthopedic trauma and complex musculoskeletal injuries. His role includes helping evaluate injuries, supporting surgical care, and assisting patients through their recovery and rehabilitation process.

Michael is committed to providing patient-focused care and helping individuals regain mobility, reduce pain, and return safely to their daily activities following orthopedic injury.
