About Landon Sackett
Biography
Landon Sackett has been a licensed Physical Therapist since 2022. Before joining TMI in this role, he worked as a Physical Therapy Technician and bullpen catcher, assisting baseball and softball athletes as they progressed through interval throwing programs.
Landon brings extensive baseball experience to his clinical practice. He has caught for several Major League Baseball teams and players and has also served as a catcher at Globe Life Field for the Texas Rangers while the team is traveling. This background gives him a unique understanding of the physical demands placed on throwing athletes and the rehabilitation required to help them return to competition safely.
His clinical practice includes the treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and work-related injuries. Landon enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels, with particular interests in treating baseball, softball, and volleyball athletes.
Landon earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he walked on and redshirted with the UTA baseball team. He later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas.
Outside of the clinic, Landon enjoys spending time with his wife, Karli, their daughter, Gentry, and their son, Seager. Together, they enjoy cheering for the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, and Nebraska Cornhuskers. GO BIG RED!
