Biography
Katherine Cowart is a Physician Assistant at TMI Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery who provides care for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions. She works closely with the physicians to evaluate injuries, develop treatment plans, and support patients throughout their recovery so they can safely return to their daily activities.
Originally from Texas, Katherine has lived in several communities across the state, including San Angelo, Lubbock, and Marble Falls. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where she also competed as a member of the women’s volleyball team.
Katherine later completed her Physician Assistant training at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in orthopedic medicine and musculoskeletal care.
She joined TMI Sports Medicine in 2025 and works alongside Dr. Shane Seroyer, helping care for patients with orthopedic conditions affecting the shoulder, hip, and knee, including sports injuries and joint-related conditions.
Outside of the clinic, Katherine enjoys spending time with her family, playing and watching sports, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. She especially enjoys being around animals and celebrating holidays with family and friends.
