Biography

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Joseph Rueda, PA-C, brings a strong passion for patient care and orthopedic medicine to the TMI team. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Biomedicine.

After graduation, Joseph volunteered in the Emergency Department at UMC El Paso, where he discovered his calling to become a Physician Assistant. He went on to earn his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in August 2025.

Joseph joined the TMI team in May and currently works under Dr. Brigham Au and Dr. Hallie Bradley as part of the trauma and total joint team.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys playing guitar, playing pickleball with colleagues and friends, and exploring new foods and experiences.
