About Austin McCarthy

Biography
Austin McCarthy, PT, DPT, is originally from Wisconsin and brings a strong foundation in athletics, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation to his clinical practice. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University, where he was a four-time letterman on the football team. He also gained valuable experience in collegiate strength and conditioning, including working with the Division I men’s hockey team.
Austin earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas, graduating in 2023. He joined TMI that same year and provides surgical and non-surgical rehabilitation for patients of all ages, including youth and high school athletes, collegiate competitors, and active adults. His background as both an athlete and rehabilitation professional allows him to help patients restore strength, improve movement, and return to the activities they enjoy.
Outside of the clinic, Austin enjoys training in the gym, playing recreational sports such as hockey, spending time with his puppy, Stella, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
