Biography

Amber Buechele is an orthopedic Physician Assistant who provides care for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions. At TMI Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery, she works closely with the physicians to evaluate injuries, develop treatment plans, and help guide patients through recovery so they can safely return to their daily activities and athletic pursuits.

Amber was born and raised in Arlington, Texas and has been surrounded by sports throughout her life. She grew up playing volleyball and developed a strong interest in sports medicine after experiencing an ACL injury that required reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation at TMI Sports Medicine. This experience inspired her to pursue a career helping others recover from orthopedic injuries.

She attended The University of Oklahoma, and later returned to TMI Sports Medicine to work as a medical scribe before beginning Physician Assistant school in Abilene, Texas. During PA school, Amber was the only student in her class selected to complete two clinical electives in orthopedic surgery, where she trained with board-certified orthopedic surgeons specializing in joint preservation, joint replacement, sports injuries, musculoskeletal treatment, and orthopedic trauma.

Amber graduated summa cum laude in 2022 and returned to the TMI Sports Medicine team as the Physician Assistant to Dr. William J. Robertson, where she helps care for patients with sports injuries and orthopedic conditions affecting the shoulder, hip, and knee.

Outside of the clinic, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and their golden retriever, Miller.
