Dr. Shane Seroyer is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced expertise in shoulder, knee, and anterior hip arthroplasty. He specializes in outpatient (same-day discharge) total joint replacement and is committed to helping patients return to an active lifestyle through innovative, minimally invasive techniques. His surgical practice includes total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, and total shoulder replacement.
Dr. Seroyer is an approved specialist in the Jiffy Knee® technique—a minimally invasive approach to total knee replacement that avoids cutting muscles and tendons, resulting in faster recovery, less postoperative pain, and improved patient outcomes. With this technique, many of Dr. Seroyer’s patients are able to resume walking and daily activities within just days of surgery. He also has extensive experience in arthroscopic shoulder and knee reconstruction, as well as the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal sports injuries and fractures.
After completing both his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Florida, Dr. Seroyer went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Reconstruction at Rush University in Chicago. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners, underscoring his dedication to excellence in orthopedic care.
Dr. Seroyer currently serves as an Assistant Team Physician for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club (MLB). He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, International Congress for Joint Reconstruction, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, the Texas Medical Association, and the Tarrant County Medical Society.
When he’s not in the operating room, Dr. Seroyer enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their three beautiful children. An avid cook, he especially enjoys smoking and grilling meats—a hobby that reflects his love of both precision and creativity outside of medicine.
