Comments: Went to Dr W. Robertson for a second opinion on repairing a torn rotator cuff ligament. 1st Orthopedic Surgeon in Frisco said he’ll clean up a bone spur & stitch up the tear… I’d be out of work as a commercial pilot for 4-6 months. Dr R said he’d be happy to operate, but would prefer to try something else first. You know you have the right surgeon when they say that. I was in a steady 4/5 pain level prior to his non surgical path (a cortisone injection and 4 weeks of PT). Now it’s on me to continue the regimen and while I’m not 100% pain free, I’m getting there and the things I could not do before, I can do now (swim, golf, lift…). Could not recommend Dr Robertson more.
