Comments: I am a 69 year old woman. I have had both knees replaced by another surgeon. I developed a bone infection in my right knee. I was sent to a specialist who replaced the knee along with all the ligaments, tendons, etc.. I couldn't walk or even stand on it without it giving way and falling for 3 years. (They had taken out my knee cap and tendons that straigten the leg). I went back to my original knee doctor who then sent me to Dr. Robertson. Dr. Robertson listened to me and really appeared to care about me, my problem and wanting to help me. When I met him I couldn't use my leg at all. I had no control over it. I was unable to move, lift or anything else without manually placing it where I wanted it to go. Other doctors gave me the option of an above the knee amputation.
Dr. Robertson performed surgery replacing the knee cap and the tendons. Thanks to Dr. Robertson I am now able to stand and walk again after 3 years of not being able to use it at all. I drive at least an hour from home to his office and it is worth every mile and minute. If you want a doctor who is very caring, knowledgeable, and willing to help you there is no one any finer. I would recommend him to anyone because I honestly don't think you could get anyone better than Dr. Robertson.
