Alyssa Porcelli is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has been practicing at TMI Sports Medicine for the past two years. She earned her Bachelor of Health Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Missouri–Columbia and gained hands-on clinical experience working as a phlebotomist, nurse aide, and medical assistant before pursuing her graduate education. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.
Alyssa’s passion for spine health stems from her personal history of scoliosis and back pain, which presented at a young age as a competitive dancer. Her personal journey sparked a deep interest in treating spine conditions and gave her a unique understanding of the physical and emotional challenges her patients face.
Outside the clinic, Alyssa enjoys going on walks with her golden retriever, cheering on her favorite hockey team, and mentoring aspiring physician assistant students.
