Due to its repetitive nature, athletes who participate in endurance activities are at increased risk for certain overuse injuries. Functional training works the body in the way it is designed to move and is supported by research to directly improve performance while decreasing injury risk in endurance athletes.

Each class works to stretch specific muscles that are prone to tightness and work the muscles that are prone to weakness in endurance athletes. In addition, you will learn dynamic warm-up and functional stretching techniques that will immediately improve your performance. All exercises focus on total body strength and endurance, joint stability, core stability, core strength, and balance.
